November 11, 2007

Rod McCullom, one of my favorite bloggers, has a must read analysis of the portrayals of Black and Latino gay men in American film. Rod includes commentary from a range of gay men of color including another of my fav bloggers Andres Duques, novelist Johnny Diaz and filmmaker Maurice Jamal.

The films covered include Norman, Is That You? (1976), Get on the Bus (1996), Brother to Brother (2005), Before Night Falls (2000) and Our Lady of the Assassins (2000).
